Q: Do I need a plumber?

No. Uses standard 1/4" quick-connect fittings — the same as under-sink water filters. Installation takes 15–30 minutes.

Q: Works with my existing filter?

Yes — connect the HJW-3 downstream from any existing filter (RO, carbon block). Place it as the last stage before the tap.

Q: Does it need distilled water?

No. Designed for regular filtered tap water. Using it after an RO filter extends PEM membrane life and may increase concentration.

Q: How often to replace the filter?

Every 6–12 months depending on water hardness. Replacement units available separately.
